Personal profile：Prof. QING Xitai
He graduated from Renmin University of China in 1954 as a master of philosophy. In 1980, he was responsible for founding the Institute of Religious Studies of Sichuan University, serving as director, professor and doctoral supervisor.
Currently, he is an outstanding professor of liberal arts in Sichuan University, chief expert of the National “985 Project Sichuan University Religion and Society Research Innovation Base”, member of the Academic Committee of Sichuan University, chief editor of “Religious Studies”, “Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism Doctoral Thesis series”, “Chinese Religion and Chinese Society” series.
He has compiled and published a total of more than 7 million words of academic works, including “The Outline of The History of Taoism in China”, and more than 100 papers.
