Personal profile：Prof. Mark R.E. Meulenbeld
He holds a master’s degree from the institute of Chinese Studies at Leiden University in the Netherlands and a PhD from the department of East Asian Studies at Princeton University in the United States.
He taught at Bryn Mawr College and is now an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
His teaching focuses on traditional literature and religion. From 2015 to 16, he was a visiting associate professor at the department of Chinese Language and Literature, National University of Singapore.
