Personal profile :He is also known as Zheng Ran, Yun Qing, also called Jiliao Shanfu. He became a monk at Zhongyue Temple in Songshan, Henan Province, and was a disciple of Taoist Quan Zhen Longmen School. In the 1980s, he lived in Baiyun Guan, Beijing, and later worked at the Chinese Taoist College. Because of admiration of Huang Lao’s learning, he left Beijing to visit various places in the early 1990s. After that, he lived alone in the mountains, almost isolated from the outside world, only practicing the Taoism. In the summer of 2006, he was invited back to Beijing again to teach at China Taoist College. Currently, he is deputy secretary general of Chinese Taoist Association and press speaker of Chinese Taoist Association.
