Personal profile:Assoc Prof. SU Jui-Lung
Born in 1962 in Taiwan, he received a bachelor’s degree in English from Tunghai University in Taiwan, a master’s degree in comparative literature from the University of Washington (Seattle), and a doctorate in Asian literature.
From 1994 to 1996, he taught in the department of East Asia, University of Wisconsin.
He joined the department of Chinese language and Literature, National University of Singapore in July 1996 and is now an associate professor.
His research field is ci-fu and poetry of the Six dynasties of Han and Wei. In recent years, he has focused on overseas Chinese folk religion.
