The Taoist College cordially invites Teacher He Xiafen to deliver a lecture on Traditional Chinese Medicine titled “The Art of Medicinal Cuisine.”
Master’s degree graduate in Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. She is a lecturer and clinical supervisor at the Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Currently, she is actively engaged in theoretical teaching and clinical mentoring, with expertise in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and common geriatric ailments. She has taught subjects such as Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Geriatric Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Traditional Chinese Nursing for Diseases, Prevention of Common Diseases, Wen Bing Theory, Prescription Studies, and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
With the improvement of living standards, people’s lifestyles, diets, and habits have significantly changed compared to the past. Consequently, an increasing number of individuals are experiencing suboptimal health conditions. Traditional Chinese Medicine has unique advantages in disease prevention and health maintenance. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, individuals possess different constitutions influenced by various factors in their social environment. In this lecture, a simple questionnaire survey will be conducted to help participants understand their constitution types from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine. By gaining a better understanding of oneself based on their constitution, participants will learn practical methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including medicinal dietary therapy, acupoint massage, and more. These techniques aim to improve health and enhance overall quality of life.
